What were your needs when you launched your project? What were or are your objectives?
Our aim is to offer a real service to our customers. Automated data exchange allows us to optimize our flows and ensure long-term relationships. So we’re keen to extend the scope of customers who use EDI in our fast-growing sectors, such as the USA.
How did you prepare this project internally?
We’ve been using EDI with our major customers for decades. I decided to secure EDI exchanges through a specialist partner. Our customers, and tomorrow our suppliers and subcontractors, will be able to use the TX2 platform to communicate with us, taking advantage of the services offered by TX2. At the same time, it secures your IS, because I don’t duplicate the connections with my IS, but they are optimized and unified with your platform.

We also use platforms such as Golda or SPS in the USA.
How did you select them? What were your criteria?
We have reproduced those that were already connected. After that, customers naturally came to us. This was a logical step with our biggest customers.
What documents did you want to exchange? What are the volumes?
All flows: orders, order acknowledgements, delivery note, invoices. Tomorrow, pricat no doubt…

Today, we have an open EDI platform with flexible connection modes, specialized and competent people to support us with each new partner, whether in France or abroad, such as the USA, and guarantees of results and security.
By working through TX2 Concept, a pure player in this field, we are able to focus on our core business. We maintain our commercial relationships with our customers while optimizing our technical and functional resources to provide a genuine service to our partners.

How did the implementation of the project go?
We transferred the existing systems translated by our in-house systems to the TX2 Concept cloud platform. Then we expanded our relationships with new partners.
The future.
Do you have any future dematerialization projects?
Yes, we are obliged to respect legislative deadlines, and in France we are lagging behind our European colleagues.
We have decided to renew 85% of our IS. We decided to change our business ERP to SAP to be in a position to absorb the growth of our markets more serenely, and to consolidate our operational bases in order to guarantee a solid IS for our employees over the next 10 years, and to offer even more services to our customers in over 80 countries today.
